Under government Skillsfuture initiatives,  Power Earn & Learn Programme(WSP) is launched by WDA,EMA and Singapore Polytechnic to hWSP polytechnic graduates(fresh or working less than 5 years) to deepen their industrial technical skills through an in-house structure training and mentorship programme in two years and enhance their knowledge by taking 1.5 years part-time Advanced Diploma in Power Systems Engineering conducted by Singapore Polytechnic. It is a 2-year programme only for Singaporean or PR starting in the mid of coming April. 
During two years WSP, the participant needs to complete 1.5 years part time Advanced Diploma in Power Systems Engineering with 5 modules conducted by Singapore Polytechnic and also fulfil on-job trainings(OJTs) and project which are supervised and mentored by the company.

Course Structure

Participant will be awarded (Advanced Diploma in Power Engineering upon sucessful completion of the following:

PDC 1: High Voltage Operation and Protection
Module 1 – High Voltage Operation
Module 2 – Power System Protection

PDC 2: Power System Planning, Transmission and Distribution
Module 1 – Power System Planning and Control
Module 2 – Power Transmission and Distribution

PDC 3: Electricity Acts and Regulations
Module 1 – Electricity Overview, Acts and Regulations
Module 2 – Project
